Skype video problems

Anyone else had a problem with the screen refusing to sleep after a Skype video call?Skype worked perfectly with my sony ericsson arc until the update with video which I updated to yesterday,now after a video call[not very good anyway with front facing camera] the screen just stays open.I had to uninstall Skype and the screen immediately closed as normal.So I know it was Skype causing it. Is there a solution ?If not Skype is pretty well unusable for me.
 
Every time you get a video call?I usually just leave it on in the background,what a pain to have to log out every time.You don't have to do that on a computer!Then you'd have to immediately log back in again in case someone else is calling you.Daft!
 
You're right,it does say sign out to close the application.But When using it just for messaging I never bothered,never had a problem with screen staying open.Guess I'll just have to put up with it.Thanks for your help anyway..
 
can any one help I have an HTC Thunderbolt verizon when i use skype i cant turn on the front cam it make video calls a little hard to do.help
