i can't dowload skype from my phone, i can't find it in the market and when i click download in skype's page it says error

you should download direct from android mkt to yor phone.type the words skype in yr market search box you will get skype.enjoy with wifi

Strange... I don't know where you are from, but some apps are only available in some countries.
I haven't downloaded the app myself, but it shows up on the market.

Skype is available at AppBrain.com, try to install it from that site. A Google Account is needed to be able to sign in.

I am in the US and use Tmobile. Skype doesn't work on my Galaxy 3, I think it only works on Galaxy S. I don't know why.

I am using galaxy 3 only and I am able to download and use skype without any problem

I am from india and I am sure that it will work for US

already solve it, there's some problem with the market and had to download it from another link

In US, I belive it works only with verizon and iphone4. Skype said it will soon launch a version compatible for all android regardless of carrier.
