I have a galaxy s and installed a skype application but when I try and sign in it says to re-install skype? It tries to conect but won't??

Hello and welcome to Android Forums saraht.

I guess that you are downloading Skype from the Android Market. If you have a previous version on your phone you may want to uninstall this first before downloading and installing the new version. To do this....

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Skype > Uninstall

Now try re-downloading Skype from the Android Market.

If this fails then download the Skype .apk (application) from here:-

to your PC and then copy to your SD card. Then using a file manager, such as Astro File Manager, free from the Market, navigate to the Skype .apk on your SD card and select it. This should start the install process for you.
