Skype

[girlie23]

This might be a stupid question (I tried to search), but can anyone tell me if Skype works well on the Transformer? I'm looking at buying a tablet, and had myself convinced that I wanted a BB Playbook, until I realized it didn't have Skype. Being able to video chat with family while traveling is a must! I have read hit or miss items on Google re: skype on the transformer.

I'm looking at the TF101 model.

Thanks!

Well I would be surprised if any stuff made recently isn't compatible with Skype, including BB Playbook. You download Skype like I did. If you like you can hit me up on Skype lol

It works, but it's very temperamental at best.

I can have 20 min conversations with no issue, then the next time, video will cut out, the screen will go black etc. 60% of the time, it is acceptable though.

I didn't like the Skype app but I have had a better experience using IMO chat which supports skype.
