The Sky+ app is fine for viewing schedules & remotely setting your Sky+ box to record programs, but it does not include Sky Player (to watch live Sky TV programs on the move).
According to the Sky website, Sky Player is supported in any web browser "on PC or Mac. Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer browsers are all supported", on Windows 7 (under Windows Media Center), or Xbox 360. There is no mention of mobile phone support. [I have read in other posts that it doesn't work in the stock Android browser as it needs Silverlight support.]
