Root Skyraider Sense 3.5, Outlook Exchange Activesync Doesnt work

I can create Pop3 accounts but when I go to create my Exchange activesync account I get all the way to choosing what to sync and hit finish and it says "Error, failed to create the account try again later". It worked fine before root/stock. I know how to set it up so it has to be the rom/mail.apk. I tried to replace the Mail.apk in the app folder with the stock Mail.apk and mail would not run at all, it also would not install, I put the old Mail.apk back and same thing it works for pop3 but not outlook.

Any Ideas?

I don't have much input to offer to resolve your problem (sorry....I just rooted for the first time a few days ago) but I am also running Skyraider 3.5 and Exchange setup just fine. Maybe you should reflash. Did you do a fresh wipe before installing? I did. I followed the rooting instructions to a "t".
