Slacker Radio - Awful Bass?

Anyone have an update on this... Just got my Incredible yesterday and this issue is still here.. I'm getting it somewhat less on pandora as well.. As it appears to be a confirmed Android issue I sure hope it gets fixed.. I tested out a Moto Droid back in November and this slacker issue was a big reason I took the phone back.. Slacker works amazingly on my Crackberry bold..
 
I actually found the Slacker forum discussing this.. The issue appears to be with Android itself.. This isn't only with Slacker, it's with Pandora and other apps too.. Slacker is stating there is a bug in the Android OS itself causing this.

I'm rather upset this hasn't been fixed yet. I tested out the Moto droid when it came out and had these audio issues. That was Android 2.0, I'm using an Incredible that has 2.1. It makes it almost impossible to listen to listen to these music services due to this issue..

Upon searching, there are so many complaints about the Audio quality issues on Android.. Anyone heard or seen if Google is fixing this?
