Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question. When you run a radio application on the phone, does it run of your data plan or MB usage?

I am new to the whole data package thing and do not really know much about it at all. So sorry if this question seems dumb.

Theirs no such thing such as a stupid question! :)

Yes , using the Radio app streams data off the internet so does come out of your internet plan , same as browsing the web , emails etc. A good app to see how much you are using is "3G watchdog" free off the Android market!

Thanks for the reply. So this "3G watchdog" app will monitor all my my internet usage, or just the radio internet usage.

No Problem! :D

This "3G watchdog" app will monitor all Data from your Phone including every app , Web browsing etc. :)

This is a good app if your data plan has a limit to how much you can Download , For example on Vodafone UK they give us 500MB {Varies depending on carrier some are lucky to have Unlimited!} . This app helps me and others to keep within the data allowance

Scan this QR code below with a Barcode scanning app like "Barcode scanner" free of the Android Market , Alternatively simply search the word "Slacker" in the Market

O I tried both of those and neither work.
I get no results when searching for slacker or slacker radio and I get "no matches for pname:com.slacker.radio"
And anyone know what the "verizon channel" is in reference to?
The original post on the main page says that you should be able to go there and just download it.

I believe you can go right to slacker.com via your browser and download it from them. Pretty sure that works with the Blackberry's too.
 
Quick Question Droid Gurus: I know iPhone has an app which will allow scanning barcode (taking picture of it) and it will than find this item that you scanned and prices around on the web. Is there anything like this for Droid?

Give ShopSavvy a try. It seems to work well.
 
I have the Eris and Slacker crashes every time I try to use it. On my iPhone 3GS I had both slacker and pandora, I definitly prefer slacker becasue IMO they play better music and give you more control of your stations, but right now I guess I am stuck with Pandora.
