Slacker vs Pandora?

I've used Pandora a lot, and am thinking of subscribing to the paid service finally. But i just now found Slacker. I like it so far, but before i start paying for Pandora i want to know if this app can stack up to it
 
One thing I like about Slacker is the ability to cache stations for offline playing. Pandora doesn't do that.

You set it to cache data only while on wifi. I think you have to pay 4.99 a month to be able to cache stations offline.

Well, you can only cache music you own with Google Play Music. To cache radio stations with Google Play Music, you need to subscribe for 9.99 / month.

Just curious, what did you not like about Slacker?
 
My mom finded it real hard to use. She uses T-Mobile and she uses a HTC Desire 4G. Then I try to uninstall it and boom it's a system app. I disabled it on the phone and force stopped it to prevent it from hogging any resources when not using it.

That's an agreement between Slacker and T-Mobile, to include it on the subsidised phones they supply. Which means using Slacker rather than Pandora for streaming with T-Mobile, it's inclusive and doesn't count against the limited data plan.

Oh ok. My mom hates slacker really though. I downloaded and put my Pandora account on the phone though. It's just a little sluggish
 
I would honestly go for $3.00 more and go for the Google All access subscription. With that, you get unlimited ad free music streaming of ANY song, artist, album, radio station you want.

If you only want to listen to one album from one artist, you can do that. Only want to listen to one song, you can do that.

If you want to download a full album to your phone on Wi-Fi, because you know you are going into a no data zone, you can do that. When I had it, I really liked the service. The quality of the music is great too, however it's more data intense than the other 2 apps.

30 minutes of listening will cost 65 mb of data. If your like me, that's about 3-5 GB of data a month.
