Help Slacker

I know Slacker is one of this apps that you cant delete but I never use it. I have it hidden so it's no bother but sometimes when I check running services it on there running! It's like it just starts up by itself once and a while. It's quite annoying. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can stop it? Thanks

You will need to root your phone and then freeze the app. You don't want to delete it because future phone updates might fail if you don't have verizon apps installed.

When you freeze it the app will still want to update if there are any updates, but it will never run.
