Help Sleep mode - Help

Hello everyone.

This is for Verizon's Droid Charge by Samsung.

I just picked up this phone from Verizon. I have set the phone to go into sleep mode after 30 seconds. It works and all, but when I plug the phone in to charge it while it is still powered on the phone does not go into sleep mode unless I lock it.

Is this normal?

Generally this is an option you need to turn on, but either way, its for development. My friends Droid X came like this too.

Go to Settings (menu button) -> Applications -> Development -> *Now uncheck the option "Stay Awake"
