Sleep Walking

bluenova

OK Computer
So last night I went to bed leaving my laptop in Windows formatting a 1TB partition to NTFS. This morning I wake up, the laptop has rebooted into Ubuntu, logged in, opened Android Forums and done a search for new posts (I don't think I banned anyone).

As far as I know I have never sleepwalked before and it feels very strange to think I did these things without knowing it . Anyone else have experiences like this?

wait a minute, so Ubuntu is logged in on, android forums is open, and "you" did an advance search? does anyone else live in your house?

Only my wife as my daughter stayed with the grandparents list night and she swears it wasn't her .

I'd swear it wasn't me either ;)

I've never slept walked, but when i was younger asleep in my bed, my older sister walked into my bedroom, turned the light on, opened my wardrobe and threw every piece of clothing i had on the floor, walked back out and turned the light off.

I just went straight back to sleep, she didn't remember a thing the next day lol

my younger sister sleep talks which used to be quite scary, she honestly used to say things like "No mam, dont please dont" and sayig it quite loud. Don't really want to know what shes dreaming about then tbh.

but yeah none myself that i know about but my sisters are affected.

I used to sleepwalk quite often growing up...... I havent since I was in my late teens though...... however my wife says I often sleep with one or both eyes wide open..... freaks her out a bit LOL

I sleep with both eyes open... It won't help though. Even if I see Chuck Norris, I'll already BE dead.

How does sleepwalking work? Do you just do stuff your subconscious is thinking? I have only blacked out and woke up in a bathtub.. Is sleepwalking like that? lol

Lol, not necessarily b/c you could've blacked out in the bathtub to begin with. I think sleep walking is exactly what you stated previously in which your body does what the subconscious is thinking at the given moment. Sleepwalking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would see a health care provider if that story were mine.

Your description seems not one of sleep walking, but one of memory loss.

There are, of course, many many causes for that.

AndroidForums on the brain? ;) lol...working a bit too hard there Bluenova? :P haha

I slept walk as a child...but the thing was when I hit something I'd take the route back and go to sleep. Like one time, I climbed down the bunkbed and hit the dresser and went back to bed. Second time, I climbed down the bunkbed, turned and hit the door and went back to bed...Third time I climbed down the bunkbed, door was opened so walked out of my room and hit the banister and went back to bed...you get where I'm going with this. Though it only happened those couple of times...scared my mom shitless.

Well at least now we know who banned those 8 members, sent Trident those naked pictures and cursed me out via pm using the alias account.

:p

damn Frisco, sure way to put a damper on things.

Well, if Frisco is right and you are having memory issues I just want to take a moment and remind you about that $50 you owe me. I don't want to hear any of your excuses that you don't remember borrowing $50 or that you thought you paid it back. We all know your mind is going. ;):p
