Help Sleeping through work calls at night

I work as a service technician. I'm on call 24/7 and sometimes my phone isn't loud enough to wake me up. This cannot happen anymore or I will lose this very wonderful position. I want my phone to wake up the neighbors when I get a call. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The louder the better.

What phone do you own?

There's not much you can do to increase ringer volume on most devices unless you're rooted.

Yes there are special needs phones actually, but are usually dumb-phones, with big buttons and large numbers, in case you're visually impaired as well.

As Mike says, yes there are, but a cheaper option would be an external speaker like the one I linked above.

Yes timer volume to the max.

Different ringtone might help.

Adjust settings to also vibrate for incoming call might help.

Some phones have setting that starts soft and increases volume (gives you a chance to answer phone without bothering people around you much) ...disable that. (What phone do you have, by the way)
