slide settings

hi there.. i got a new xperia x10 but on the unlock screen jus before u put the pattern to unlock. instead of the slide up i am getting this normal slide like i phone. can ne1 help me change it to the slide up! i tried everthing!

Welcome to the forum

The X10 has never had a slide UP to unlock and the iPhone style of sliding across is the only one available

thanks. u know the lock screen where you see a curve which says slide here.. thats what i am talkin about..is it arc u were talkin about? i really like that screen. please help!

Arc style unlock was android 1.6
iphone style unlock [horizontal] was incorporated in android 2.1
for the x10

on 2.1 you can still use the arc movement to unlock as long as you touch the left bottom corner and then swipe towards the middle right

LockBot Pro from the Android Market could have given you this back too.....and then you'd still be on the most recent Android version available from SE.
