Help Slider bar gone...Kindof

Hi, whenever I use a pattern to unlock my phone the slider bar dissapears and it goes straight to the pattern, however any other security I use the slider bar is still there. How can I get the slider bar to remain in use when I use a pattern unlock? Thanks

Can't do it. The pattern always removes the unlocked tabs!
