I am only a few days on the android so far and things are not going well form. I have a web ap running on a windows pc that is basically a midi control surface. Works great everywhere except on androids. I am now using a zt-180 tablet to test it.(droid phones do the same think) The problem is the html/javascript page displays well on the device but it uses sliders and they cannot be dragged. On a windows system with a touch screen I can drag the position of the faders (sliders) but on droids it only moves if you touch a position above or below the current setting and even that is hard to make work.
I am a beginner at html/java/android.. but it seems to me if it may have to do with onmousemove verses ontouchmove events. Does anyone know what the deal is here?
on windows I can use IE or firefox. On the droid(2.2) I have used the default browser, and a couple others I down loaded(I don't remember which) but they all have the same behavior.
