slideshow widget for pictures on a network device?

I have been searching for a bit for a slideshow widget that will show pictures on a network device. I have found an app that will do a network picture slideshow, and I have found plenty of widgets that will do a slideshow of local pictures, but nothing that combines the 2.

I.e. I have an NAS device that houses all of my pictures.... thousands of them, in various folders. I can access the NAS via samba or UNPn both locally and remotely, and would like to have a widget that would display these photos.

Does anybody know of anything out there that does this?
