slightly slughish on low power?

So I noticed my device seems a bit less crisp when the battery is running low. Am I right in thinking that's normal? Its a pretty standard phenomenon with laptops so I'm assuming same goes here. Not major lag or anything just a bit less "sharp".

Anyone else noticed this?

Maybe it downclocks the processor a bit when you activate power saving at 15% or whatever you've set it to
