Interesting rom ty. I don't have service on my lg but I still keep it around as an alarm clock and Netflix streamer. I like the market you include.

No service just wifi. Stock battery.

Well I tried it for a day after seeing the pic of the battery life and I was amazed at how long it made it last. After 5hrs I was @92% on this original stock battery that's 2 yrs old...now the bad news...my stock camera and gallery disappeared. I don't know what happened by they are just gone. Pix are still there as I can find the files. I went back to number 2 ROM and the apps came back.
I want to use this ROM but I def need my gallery and camera app, any easy way to transfer those?

Thanks...

Hi, eversleyd, I would like to start by saying that you have created a really great, if not the best (IMO), ROM for my Esteem. It's really light as stated and my phone was running slow on LD-LG 3.5 ROM. Switching to Slim-Ginger, my phone is now much faster. I also like Quickpic better than the stock gallery app. The camera app you provided is also better IMO. I can also say that the tools you provided, like android assistant or Ram Manager, are a bonus and a good addition. Everything is fluid and runs smoothly, like butter. Running at 1 Ghz, phone feels like it's running overclocked actually! Amazing. I can keep going and going about how great your ROM is. I have had it for 2 day only and my battery is currently at 34%. Really light and great. I will be making a donation at the beginning of May to you. Cheers!

- I will be telling friends of mines on this forum about your ROM to try it out!

P.S. There is a mod for the Esteem camera that you can add that makes recording at 720p cap at 30 fps instead of 24. Look it up, would be a welcoming addition.

hey I dont see the wifi icon on the status bar (you know when you enable wifi) and the same goes for the alarm! Well, i personally would like to see that there when I enable something. is there a fix for that?

other than that, awesome job on the ROM man!

I really like this rom but I needed a Wi-Fi icon. I came up with a simple temporary solution. Below is a link to an app I created with tasker. All it does is show and icon in the status bar when Wi-Fi is on. When Wi-Fi turns off then it goes away. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing.

Edit. https://www.box.com/s/z9am5buycb9191ajhpc0

I put this ROM on again to give another go. The only issue I have is now my bluetooth keeps disconnecting, is anyone else having this problem.

Also like the wifi icon on the status bar not showing, bluetooth doesn't show either. I would like to know if theres an easy fix as I want to see if I forgot to turn it off after I'm done using, to save battery life.

GTurn, you thing you can make one for bluetooth as you created for wifi? Thanks in advance.
