Help Slingbox out via HDMI to RCA

Anyway to do this? I am wanting to connect the rear seat entertainment system in my truck to phone via HDMI out. Input on tv's is RCA only.

You would need a digital to analog converter. A cable alone cannot convert the signal.

Only analog out coming from the X is the 3.5, you would have sound - no video though, unless a dev comes up with a way to route the signal which I would think would be very difficult/impossible through the audio jack, there is enough rings. Now yes a converter would work, so would anything that has a HDMI IN/ANALOG OUT - your phones more up to date with your existing hardware I'm afraid. I have seen things on the net where people have ran the signal through the USB but nothing ever came of it, and it was dismissed as BS.
