Just looking at my phone this morning and had a shortcut or link button on my screen to a website did a quick check of this software very dodgy permissions in fact it's really spyware now I never installed this so something free has sneaked it in anyone else had this happen? Was looking at go themes at the time

Apps cannot install themselves. However, many themes (especially ones I've seen for GO!) come with adds. They have to go somewhere. Take a look at your recently installed apps and see which can create shortcuts/internet access.
Be careful what you install and read permissions beforehand. While this is legal in the Android environment, many people don't want these types of adds.
