Root Slow 3g speed on a flash evo 4g

I'm getting very slow 3g speed on my htc evo that is flashed to boost mobile. The latest speed test result I got was 138dl/181up 264dl/633up 189dl/722up. My radio is 2.15.00.09.01 n my prl is 61009. Any thoughts, ideas i should try to do see if it my speed would increase?

Not surprising. My EVO is flashed to Boost and my speeds in my house and outside in my front or back yard are horrible. Yours are better than mine.

Are these speeds at your house? Did you get faster speeds before?

Remember, Boost is on Sprint and Sprint's 3G has gone rapidly downhill

These are speeds at my house, and sometimes I do get speeds up to 500dl n over. I once got speed over 1mb which was shocking. I also notice that sometimes prior to me doing the speedtest, my 3g with go off and I get 1x, don't know why it does that

Is your phone rooted? what ROM is your phone running?

Yes, and using mikg rom

Moved you to this forum as your are rooted.

Have you tried a different rom/kernel at all? Not sure if that may help much but make a nandroid backup and try.
