Root Slow 3G

My internet on Evo 4G is @ snail speed. I rooted a few days ago with Auto Root v.2.2. Could that have anything to do with this issue. I love this phone man.

Did the issue start right after rooting, or did it start some time after that? It's highly unlikely that just rooting caused it, but there are several things you can try. The first, and simplest, thing you should try is to go to menu->settings->system updates, then update both profile and prl. Beyond that, take a look at this thread, and try some of those suggestions.

-Get your MSL(since you are rooted get msl reader from market)
-Dial ##3282#
-Edit Mode-type in MSL # press ok
-Go to Advanced and change "HTTP PD Proxy Port" to "0" & "HTTP PD Proxy Address" to 0.0.0.0
-go back and go to Evdo and change the Preferred Mode to "Automatic"
-then go back and go to Data Profile, hit menu to restore.......
