Slow application launch on S Pen removal

When I pull the S Pen from my Edge it's taking about five seconds for the note taking app to appear. Is this normal? That's a long time with no indication of anything happening. In general I find moving around inside the S Pen notes application to be very slow.

I am having no problems with mine - not sure why you would. Are you on Lollipop yet? Or still on old software. You might just try rebooting - pop the battery - or check on you-tube. There are some tips and tricks to speed up the Edge that I have done and mine works pretty quickly. Just a few thoughts - hope one helps.

A cache partiton wipe may be in order (you will not lose ANY data at all,no worries,it just cleans up the cache partition):

To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

1. Turn the device off.
2. Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time:
   • Volume Up key
   • Home key
   • Power key.
3. When the phone vibrates, release the Power and Home key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key. This step may take several seconds.
4. When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up keys.
5. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
6. Press the Power key to select.
7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
8. Press the Power key to restart the device.
