Help slow phone

my phone has been running really slow lately. Especially with text messages and phone calls. Sometimes it doesn't even respond to my touch on the screen nor keyboard. any similar stories or solutions?

yea happens all tha time...had to uninstall panda home now i might have to uninstal handcent

I noticed this kind of slowness after the 2.1 update. Sometimes my touchscreen will not respond for a couple of seconds after unlocking it. I think the Cliq's hardware just can't keep up with the demands of Android 2.1 and/or Blur.

Same here... phone is becoming almost unuseable because of it.
