Help slow start

I'm a latecomer to mobile phones - apologies if the answer to this is blindingly obvious. When I switch my phone on there is a 30 second or so series of Android animations before the home screen opens. Is there any way of getting rid of these annoying time-wasting pictures?

Welcome to Android Forums.

The animations when you power on can be a little misleading. You are not waiting for the animations to end ... you are watching animations instead of staring at a blank screen while the initialization is going on.

Android does an enormous amount of processing every time you power on.

The way to make it load faster ... invest in a faster phone.

Many people just leave their phones on all the time.
