slow to wake up

For about the last month occasionally my phone is really stubborn to wake up. Sometimes it will wake up right away. other times no matter what button i hit it takes about 10 or so tries to wake it up, sometimes it will partially wake up the menu buttons will light up and i have to swipe the screen to wake up, sometimes it will wake up and the clock is missing on the screen, Sometimes the large clock on the screen will have the wrong time on it compared to the small one at the top. Does not do it all the time. some times i can go for days with no issue, or i may get it to happen once a day or sometimes it will be 3 or 4 times a day.. seems to be no pattern for the issue

I was having the same problem and it increased after updating to KitKat firmware. So I just did a factory reset and the problem was solved for me.

Do you reboot your phone every once in awhile? It's a computer and really needs this.

ya i have started rebooting it about once a week and seems to have cured the problem

Screw the factory reset. It's too time consuming (and one shouldn't really have to do it).
