Help Slow wifi Mediapad X2

So I just got my Huawei mediapad X2 and i am noticing the wifi on it is pretty bad. I have yet to get my SIM card so I am just relying on wifi and rarely is it even usable.i put on the wifi speed indicator and it is tell me I and dropping below 1kb at times causing constant "connection time outs"

I tried to update through settings thtough what i think was the main update thing and it said that non are available.

This phone has been really great so far but I can even really use it because of this. Any suggestion

It's not the phones fault, it's your wifi. Have you tried to reset the router?

Yeh, sounds like a WiFi network problem, suggest you try restarting your router.
