Help Slower data speeds after gingerbread update Help!!

I updated to gingerbread yesterday and now getting under 2 Mbps dl speed. Before update I always got over 5 Mbps at my house. What's going on did they cap our speeds with this update?? Help !

Speeds vary greatly from time of day ect. Try doing a few more tests. 5 seems really high. Where are you located?

Hey thanks for the response im located in NW Austin,TX and never got below 5 at my house even did one the day before the update and ran 5.67 down and 1.02 up. My upload hasn't changed but im having a hard time even seeing 2 down now.

it's also the weekend. your towers could be congested as opposed to a work week and the congestion is concentrated in the city.

Mines actually hit record speeds. Just the other day I got 5.12 down. The fastest it ever got on 2.2. was 4.3 down.

You were right about it being the weekend ran a test this morning and was at 5.77 down and 1.09 up.
