Help Sluggish Asus tablet

I have an asus TF700T tablet that is so slow that it is frustrating. It has android ver. 4.2.1. Any suggestions?

The Transformer Pad Infity is 4 years old. 1 GB RAM is not nearly enough anymore.

Someone who owns one may chime in and give you some advice
