Root [SM-G900P] Find a -link- to what you need here

good news...
i just flashed MOAR for ND2
roMpnit's files for Samsung Galaxy S5 | Androidfilehost.com | Downloads and free file hosting for Android Developers

was very happy to see the splash boot animation screen, it then took about 8 minutes to load (i thought it was boot-looping, but i waited)...
setting it up and testing right now, i will report back with apn, sms, mms, calls, and what nots

EDIT...
sms works
mms works
3g works
LTE works
still says "Boost Mobile"
it would appear that APNs do not get changed :)
calls work (voicemail at least)
still testing... all seems well. im going to give it a a few hours of use, if all goes well i will post it in the op

now im not 100% sure if i did flash it or only downloaded it because i didnt put a link in the op... im 98% sure i did, i do have it on my sd card... :confused:
 
Just posting to say I'll have my phone tomorrow! Super stoked! I'll be getting the zero lemon battery and case. I'll do a review on it after a week! So are we just like the s3? In that we can flash the sprint nd2 Roms?

Im quite sure (not 100%) we can flash all of sprint's ROMs and klte ROMs (cm, asop, ...). whoever does the first test flash is going to a nervous wreck until that boot screen pops up...

But yes I can validate that we can flash all sprint ND2 ROMs, im running one right now.

If you can, before you root, see if there is an ota update? try to copy it if you can, at least get the name of it. If there is an update!

Once rooted it will not even alow you to check for an update. I think I saw that it wanted me to update, but I wanted to root fist thing. So just check it out.

May I also request the addition of the towel root root process added to the way to root section? Could be valuable for those in need

Right now we have nothing. I have a few nandroid backups. I will see if that Philz option makes a flashable zip. It could be useful.

Nope, that didn't do what I wanted it to. So no go. *maybe* if I can find the time, I might copy all the partitions and make an Odin backup tar. But hopefully someone will find it on Kies first, I don't have/use Kies.
 
Great news!!!
i went ahead and tried to flash a Sprint NE5 ROM... and it works fine. i didnt do a full test on it, i just wanted to see if it would properly flash and load, and it did! i'll do more testing later...

SO WE CAN DEFINITELY FLASH SPRINT ND2 and NE5 ROMS

PS. I'm still on the ND2 baseband/bootloader.
 
Added Adfree link to op for those that don't like ads or don't want to use up data that is needed to pull ads to your phone.
 
i don't know... its simple, and works good... it basically injects a new host file into you system that blocks just about all ad sites
 
I have not myself and don't know of anyone that has yet.... I do know that Boost's s3 was able to flash sprint's latest updates with odin. I'm thinking we could do the same with our s5, BUT I'm just too SCARED to be the first guinea pig to risk my phone

If you or anyone were willing to give it a shot you will probably need the APN fix too
