Lots of questions asking the same thing on many forums and sites.

Guess the thing is proving rather difficult, but then Samsung seem to be doing that now, really ensuring some of their latest devices are secure from unauthorized tampering, e.g. locked bootloader.

i have successfully rooted and flashed twrp_3.2.1-1_sm-t280_080118 and SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031 using Odin3_v3.10.7 just haven't found any custom roms for this model yet.
