Hi all,
I am relatively new to development and have made few small simple apps. I am now implementing, well trying to implement a system that allows a user to send a message from their PC to my android app. The app must also display the last 5 messages and the android app user has to acknowledge the message has been sent. I have looked into using Gmail API to drag mail out of gmail inbox and display and also looked at a simple chat system that could probably work however I am not convinced Im taking the best route due to my beginner experience level. I am interested to hear any opinions or ideas and am thankful for anyone taking the time to reply.
