Help Small SMS pictures

Are you both AT&T? I know some carriers over here limit the size in KB of SMS/MMS pics sent/received on the network. As a consequence, the pictures are shrunk to make them comply. That could be it?

Yup at&t. Worse carrier on the face of this planet! I wonder if they did the same for the iPhone?

This happened to me too. The picture was a screen shot taken and sent from an iPhone, plus I never had the problem on my iPhone so I dunno.

It only happens when people send screenshots and It's not limit to screenshots from iPhones it happens from androids too. What the hell is wrong with this? Is this another broken thing in android or just broken for this phone???

what kind of image are you recieving? I think iPhones send screenshots in .png form, which for some reason my HOX automatically resizes to 20x20. So anything in .png form might have this issue, which I am hoping gets fixed in an update

Its mostly iphony sent messages

Yep, I have noticed the same thing lately. I'm on AT&T and it has only happened with pics sent from iPhones. And they aren't screenshots either...

Only started after I updated to 4.0.4.

I infer that your device is an HTC One X phone from AT&T. We have received reports of screenshots (.png files) downsizing and are currently investigating the issue; however, currently I cannot provide an estimated date of availability for a resolution.

This was the response I got from HTC.....
