Small Tasker question

aix123

Lurker
I'm thinking of buying Tasker, but wondered if it's fairly easy to group the following actions into one task which would be triggered if a missed call event took place:

1 Open notification area
2 Touch on the missed call notification (which will open the phone application)
3 Return to the home screen.

1 to 3 would take place with the display off.

I mean without any coding. Maybe it won't be that easy, as the task might kick in as the call comes through and before the missed call notification appears.

But hopefully there is some way of automatically getting rid of any missed call notification.

Thanks.

Tasker can't do exactly what you listed above. Specifically, it can't tap the missed call notification. However, it can display the call log and return to the home screen, effectively clearing the missed call notification, which is what it appears you want to do.

You're right - after messing around for a while, that's basically what I did. Unfortunately it seems to conflict in some way with the call blocking app I use (or any of them, in fact). I have used a few 'waits' here and there to let the blocking app do its work before Tasker kicks in, but still to no avail.

Thanks for the reply.
