Can someone help me set up a smart action to automatically turn off 4G when wifi is available?

What would the action & trigger be? I think I'm over complicating this...lol

you can turn off cellular data altogether but I'm not sure that you can set a smart action to turn off only 4g. to do this the trigger would be:
Wifi Connection - Any Wifi Connection

and the action would be:
Cellular Data - Disabled

EDIT: this is using only the stock Smart Actions app not sure how to do it with other apps because i don't have any other apps for smart actions (Tasker, etc.)

So if I do cellular data, then it would cut my phone data usage & only work on wifi, right?

Correct, which is fine if you're on wifi, but you can't send or receive mms with data off. I used to have a smart action when I connected to wifi it would shut off data until I realized this. It did increase battery though

Yes. that is correct. and like carracerz14 said it will increase battery life if you turn data off. especially if you use 4g. i had wifi and 4g on all day and my battery life was about 2 hours shorter than normal (keeping data off). but if you keep 3g on only it's not as bad. also if you're looking for a good app to switch between 3g and 4g this app works well with the razr/razr maxx even though it's for the thunderbolt
