It's great to see developer come aboard!

Welcome! I like Smart Actions. They seem a bit simpler than Tasker. That said, how do you set up an action that turns off data while phone is static, but turns it on for like a minute every hour to check for any emails, downloads, etc.?

Thanks, in advance.

An idea that others might find useful...

If Smart Actions could make the phone "discoverable" when Bluetooth is toggled "on" (just long enough for it to connect to the headset)...so it could connect to the headset without leaving it in discoverable mode all the time.

I'm a truck driver...the last thing I want to do is leave my phone in discoverable mode all the time...no telling who'd be listening in on my phone conversations (truckstops are full of Bluetooth devices).

As it is...I have to turn my headset off and then back on to get it to connect...but if smart actions could make the phone discoverable for a couple of minutes when Bluetooth was toggled on...I think that would be a very useful tool.

Especially since its a $2,730 fine for a truck driver to be seen with a cell phone in his hand while driving...I agree with the new law against truckers texting while driving, but cops are already getting carried away with it...writing tickets to drivers who were not texting but had their phones in their hand for other reasons...then the driver has to go to court and prove he wasn't texting (lost time and wages + lawyer fees)

The more things you can do to make phones "hands free"...the better.
