Help Smart Actions/Settings

Question: If I set a Smart Action to go into airplane mode between 11:45pm and 6:00 am do I also have to set another smart action to turn it back on between 6:00 am and 11:45pm?

I'm assuming I just need the one smart action. Thank you in advance.

Trying to figure this out as well as I want to turn data off completely while I'm at home and just use Wifi, but make sure data comes back on when I leave home... But I can't easily use a geographic location to do that. I'm guessing it doesn't automatically say "he's left the address we have set for "home" so now we back out of the Home settings."

I don't think you need to set another action. I have my home wifi set to disable cell data and have been in and out today with it switching automatically.

I do have a few questions, figured I would tag them on to this thread.

For Sleep mode, I have the ringer set to vibrate but there is no switch to turn off notifications. If I choose not to disable sync, then emails/texts arrive and the the notification sound is played. How can I disable all sounds?

Secondly, I have for work a trigger to activate at my address. No wifi is available so it would be logical to disable it. But both the wifi and airplane actions are greyed out and not available.

Any help on these would be appreciated.

I have my "night" when "not charging" and "screen off"set to "disable phone data and disable background data" (might be redundant)...went into action last night...I checked...when screen on- data started up....this morning....10am...data is on as normal so I don't think you need to set up a "wake-up" for regularly running features for instances where the smart actions are not in affect...only my first use of smart actions (last night) so I made need to keep checking

If the setting exists, use "If WiFi signal drops - > Turn on all Cell radios". This will happen when you leave your home.

If Smart Actions can't do this, I'm sure Locale and Tasker can. They are infinitely more powerful than Smart Actions.

In Smart Actions you can set a trigger for WiFi being connected to a specific SSID. I don't believe the current version will support of trigger of WiFi being connected to any SSID (unless you want to check every known SSID in the context menu).
