I love my Smart Actions on my Bionic. I turn off syncing while I sleep to save battery and preventing emails walking me up. Can this be done with the Droid Maxx, turn off syncing at night and turn off Active Display at night too?

I'm playing with Snapdragon Battery Guru which says it has the ability to disable syncing during "periods of inactivity." I'm not entirely sure how it determines those, and there appears no way to set the times manually, but at first glance this may be similar to the automatic sync disabling you're looking for.

Also keep in mind that moto assist can help you silence your phone during sleeping hours, and installing a quick toolbar can allow you to toggle syncing on and off.

The free app llama can turn off data sync. So, you can use both apps to do the two things.
