Smart Vibrator & Handcent Please Help!!!

I hope someone can help me to get Smart Vibrator to work with Handcent. I tried everything I can think of. What settings do i need to change so Smart Vibrator is the default for texting and incoming calls. Please Help!!!

SV's vibrating patterns are the default setting for both incoming calls and texts. You can select to switch either pattern off. Have you tested incoming calls and texts? What happened? The ringer still rang? Maybe you should turn down the sound then? The phones I know default to vibrating when you turn the ringer volume down completely. No 'Smart Vibrator' necessary. As far as I understand SV only changes how it vibrates, not when it vibrates. That is still governed by your setting of the phone.

Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. I setup Smart Vibrator with the vibrate pattern I want. I have it for around 8 vibrates for both calls and texts. That is fine. Put when I get a text it looks Handcent SMS vibration setting takes over. It vibrates twice and pops up on the screen and that is it. Maybe I am missing the point. Can smart vibrator work with Handcent SMS? or this another program that can make everything vibrator longer and easy to setup. Thanks and looking for your response

Have you tried making Handcent your default messaging app? Not sure if it will make a difference, just the only thing I could think of.

Yeah I tried that but still does not work. I appreciate the answers. I am sure someone has smart vibrator working with handcent. If nobody does can you offer another program that is easy to control and make vibrate longer. Thanks everyone for your responses

Ymmi's suggestion sounds logical to me. Does it work?

On a different vibration note: try Dildroid! It's in the market.

Yes, makes sure handcent is default messenger and delete the pattern that you start with and start a new pattern from scratch...then it will vibrate your custom pattern and then the normal vibrate as well. My DINC has a very weak vibrate mode and this really helps....
