smoother scrolling in LP due to wallpaper crop

I dunno why, but i noticed that when you resize the wallpaper cropper to fit the entire image (you drag the cropping square larger to cover the entire image) you get slower scrolling on LP.

I was getting lag, but after reselecting my wallpaper and leaving the cropper at the default size (doesn't cover the entire image), the scolling was really fast and smooth.

Dunno if it is just the placebo effect, but test it out and report back. I guess it could make sense, i just don't know enough myself to say for sure.

Good point. I learned that on my old (528Mhz ) HTC Eris. But I did notice that the wallpapers looked better at full size (selecting the box and pulling it so the sides encompassed the whole pic); they seemed washed out if made to stretch to the screen size by leaving that sizing box smaller.

Same on my Fascinate. Have you seen that on your X?

Smoothest scrolling for me is with the 3d app drawer.
