SmoothSync Contact Android to iMac (iCloud)

I downloaded and am running both SmoothSync for Calendar and Contacts on my Samsung Proclaim. On contacts it does not appear to really fully sync. Some sync, some don't (both ways by the why). It looks like when you add Contacts in the phone you can choose "Contact" or "SmoothSync Contacts". Any difference?
Anyway, I think all the settings are correct, it is pretty simple. Is there a way to force a instant sync?
Thanks in advance,
JIM

Hi Jim,

I'm the developer of these apps. First, there is a difference between "Contact" or "SmoothSync Contacts" when you add or edit a contact. "Contact" will start the native contact editor and "SmoothSync Contacts" will start the SmoothSync editor. In Android 2.x and 3.x the native editors are broken and can not edit SmoothSync contacts, that's why I've included an editor with the app. In Android 4 the native editor should be fine.
If you create a new contact on your Samsung, ensure that you select the SmoothSync account. Otherwise the contact will not be synced.

If some contacts have not been synced from iCloud, please try the following:
* go to www.icloud.com
* select a contacts that has not been synced
* edit that contact (doesn't matter what, just add a comment or something like that)
* check if the missing contact is synced to your Android on the next sync (you may have to trigger a sync in "settings" -> "accounts & sync")

Maybe you can help me.
i had S3 and now S4.
i have both smoothsync for calendar and contacts.
i set up no problem on S3 but for some reason on both S4 and Galaxy Note 8 Tablet, each time I restart or shutdown then I need to reestablish accounts again via either Add Account or the Smoothsync application,
i love the product but this really annoys me.
it seems the login uset and account does not save or hold.
any ideas?

Dean
