SMS and Email question

How can you fwd SMS?

If you have a gmail account set up through the Gmail Mail app it does not give you an option to select how often the email gets checked. You are getting the email in "realtime"... what if I don't want to get it in realtime.. what if i want to only get it when I go in and refresh? Is it possible?

Hi mshest and Welcome to the forums! :D

1) Go to the sms you want to forward -> Long press on it -> A box should pop up -> Select forward

2) I don't think this is possible as the Default Gmail app is Push

Edit:
Actually just disable syncing of Gmail:

Settings -> Data synchronization -> Un-tick "Gmail" {Sorry these are the rough steps about the Sync as I don't have an droid or 2.0 yet , but the above should give you a rough idea how to disable the sync of Gmail} :)

So now , your Gmail will not be Retrieved and you will not be notified at all and if you want to check your Gmail you have to go into the app and refresh

thanks so much. i didn't realize that you could do more than just click on the message... click and hold... sweet.

No problem :D

You'll notice alot of things can be done with the "Click and hold"

For example , Add widgets onto the home screen , Save images in the Browser by long pressing on the Image etc. :)
