SMS App??

Hey everyone, I am curious to know if there is an app for my thrive that can be downloaded to my tablet and on my Droid incredible that could send SMS using a Bluetooth connection. I don't see why there couldn't be something, something using a push feature that would send the message to the phone running the same app that would send the message using the phones network.

You can use email to send text messages. You just use the phone number plus @ plus the special domain name for each carrier. For instance, if you wanted to send a text to someone on Attention, you'd use 5556663333@mms.att.net

Worked beautifully! So stupid question and already know the answer but, does verizon or whom ever charge extra to do this? and i like how you can even reply

Don't see how they could. There's no business relationship between your computer and any of the wireless service providers. The exception might be if your computer is tethered, but it would surprise me if the service that's providing the phone that's tethering actually sniffed what data you were sending. And the data certainly goes with typical e-mail headers.
