SMS Archive Utility

I have been looking at the SMS Backup apps that are around, but what I am after is one that deletes messages from your device after backing them up on the SD card, kinda like an archive rather than a straight forward back up.

Has anyone seen an app that can do this?

Thanks, I had a look at that but couldn't see that it can automatically delete messages from the phone after backing them up, will take another look

Not that I've used it (or anything else like it), but you may want to see if that app has a setting to indicate when it's done backing up, so at least you know when it's safe to delete them.

For the deleting of texts i have gone with SMS Cleaner there is a free and a paid for version which adds automation of deleting texts over x number of days or weeks.

Deleted 12420 of my 16984 texts and already the phone has speeded up when it comes to sending or receiving messages
