SMS Backup and Restore not functioning properly: cannot send entire chat to myself or back it up on

7.21.2012 hello, all! do you also get this problem when you try to back up and/or restore, or send to yourself, a chat?

i have not limited the number of characters that the chat feature uses in Settings, nor did i direct it to delete any messages, no matter how old they are. therefore, my chat history has all the messages in it since i got my android Galaxy SII SCH-R760 android smartphone. i got it in may 2012, so then, the chat does not have many records in it anyway. i do not text much anyhow. therefore, what i will describe does not make any sense:

i want the entire text that is contained inside of all of the "bubbles" (each one of them) inside of one text message back and forth between one of my contacts and myself.

i have configured the backup properly with the underscore key, but this chat does not get backed up to my SD card in the phone.

so then, i attempted to send myself, in email, each one of the parts of the chat or text message, to me and from me to my contact, however,

* not all of the words are visible anymore. *

being that the language contained inside of the SMS "bubble" of part of the entire text message showed up when i received it and answered each part of it, it all should be there now. but it is not.

it seems like the program is eating up words and parts of words as time goes on. this is strange!

what has happened to the text of my text message back and forth in one text or you may call it text chat made in may 2012? where is it all?

if it is not backed up to my SD card, and i cannot see all of the words or parts of words that were inside of each little "bubble" of the "chat" back and forth between my contact and i, where has it gone? has it vanished? why would that happen?

i reiterate: the settings of my droid are good. have you missed out on one setting that should be inside of my settings? you should test this out. use windows XP please. and send each part of the message to a gmail email address. that will match my situation.

thanks.
