my xperia x10 mini has had a few problems; deleted all my contacts, force close on applications and messaging, receiving constant blank messages, running slowly. PC companion won't let me update the software (i'm currently using android 1.6). my plan is to back up all my data and then use the repair function on pc companion.
anyway, i've back up photos and music but when it comes to backing up my sms, nothing seems to work. all of the applications i've tried (about 10, including the backup restore app that came with the phone) either force close or fail to back up ( disk I/O error). I have 39.19 mb memory on the phone and 1.16gb on my sd card.
does anybody know anything i can try as it's getting frustrating and i really don't want to lose all my messages!!
