Well I have a Droid 4 and ever since the ICS update my phone has been pretty laggy. After some searching I found I needed to do a Factory Reset to set things back to normal but before I did I wanted to backup my SMS messages. I used SMS Backup+, which in all sense works like a charm. Until I decided to restore my messages that is. SMS Backup+ backs up my SMS to my Gmail account but when I tried to restore it it only restored 2600 out of the 10000 backed up. I tried again and no avail. I even starred the threads that weren't restored and changed it to "Restore Starred Threads Only". Yet when I try, out of the 8000 left it will say "Restoring _/66 items" and but after It will usually say something like "Successfully restored 0 items (66 dups)." I've tried Googling any answers but cant find anything, so I'm hoping someone here can help, and if not does anyone atleast know a way to transfer the SMS on my GMail to my SD card?
