Sms backup +

Hi there - I had to reset/wipe my samsung droid charge and I want to reconnect my SMS Backup + but it only gives me the option of the gmail account that's associated with my phone, but before I had it connected to a different gmail account that I have. When I open the app and click "connect" only one gmail account shows up. I tried logging out of that account on my phone's browser, and logging in to the one I want, but it still just offers me one account to connect to, and it's the wrong one. Any help would be much appreciated.
Also - I swore I wrote this message last week, but I can't find it - sorry if it us a duplicate.
Thanks - Maggie

I'm unfamiliar with your particular phone, but my Samsung Galaxy S3 allows me to add multiple gmail accounts in the phone settings (not the browser). If your phone gives this option, it might be worth a shot.

Hi - thank you for your reply... I'm a bit confused - so you have more than one gmail on your phone - I get that - sounds like you're saying maybe if I add the other gmail in my phone, I will have the option to back up to it. Good Idea. I will try it tomorrow and let you know. thank you!

Yes, I have more than one gmail account on my phone (Just one app, but it allows me to switch between the two accounts)

I've just disconnected SMS Backup+ from my gmail account and tried to reconnect, and it's giving me two options - both gmail accounts that are set up. So it looks like this should work for you.

And actually, it looks like the second account is set up within the gmail app on my phone, so try that instead.

Hey GingerSnapGirl! That worked great! I swear I had it work on my "other" gmail before and I never had that email set up on the phone - but whatever - I don't care.. anyway - this worked out great - thank you so much. Are there "points" to give on here? If so I want to give them to you! I will look around - I see the "thanks" - that's nice too! I always want to thank people on forums thta I'm not a member so I can't - but anyway - thank you very much! I wonder what will happen if I delete the account from the phone - I can test that - it's not a big deal either way..

Take care!
- Maggie
