in the sms stock app and handcent sms app i see sms messages from different sources appear in same thread. None of these "from" are in my contacts.
Messages from people / numbers in my contacts however show up in their respective threads.
For example messages from "TD-Holidays", "TD-Purewater", "LM-GoodYead" are all appearing in a thread labled "LM-RTCCabs". All these are not related to each other and the message they are sending also do not have anything in common.
How to rectify this?
how does the sms app decide what thread to put the message in?
